The layout is in two large spaces: kitchen, living room and dining area when you come in the door, and bedroom and library/media area overlooking a verdant garden. A total of 1,100 square feet (102 square meter).
There are many restaurants and bars and music venues in the area, cafes, grocery stores, a farmer's market nearby on Saturdays.
There is a Citibike stand a few blocks from our place. McCarren Park is in the neighborhood with public tennis courts (a permit is necessary from the New York City Parks Department), and there is the McCarren public swimming pool.
