Ysabel was a responsive and helpful host, responded straight away when regarding an issue with the bathroom and had a plumber round the next day, and allowed us to leave our bags after check out time so we could explore and collect before new guests checked in while they cleaned. <br/>The air BnB is deffo a bit further out but<br/>The location of the subway A/1 being right on the doorstep is so convenient and easy that it connected us to everything so easily it made up for this. Apartment was really hot when arrived but leaving the air con on quickly cooled it down. Neighbourhood isn’t fantastic but shops and takeaways close by, looks nicer in the day than night. Overall would stay again if in the area, great hosts.

Great communication w host, there was even a small food package upon arrival (eggs, bread, etc), that was a nice touch!<br/>The host also allowed us to move our check out time a little as we were traveling with kids. Apartment was sunny and location was great, would book again!

The apartment is about as nice a place as one could reasonably expect in this area, and Dalia was an absolutely phenomenal host -- helpful and responsive. The highlight is absolutely the location: incredibly close access to the A train (which runs direct from Penn Station) and TONS of restaurants within a few minutes' walk. It was easy both to get to almost everywhere else we wanted to visit in the city and to find snacks and supplies right by the apartment.<br/>I feel bad not being more enthusiastic about the apartment itself, but at least when we visited there was a constant smell of smoke from outside and several small annoyances related to the building's overall condition (e.g. extremely weak water pressure in the shower). Absolutely none of this is even remotely within the hosts' control, of course, and everything they COULD do to make the apartment and stay pleasant they did, but it would definitely influence our decision to return.

Great stay, we enjoyed it. The hosts were really friendly and responsive. The place was beautifully decorated and organized…it really felt like home. Little things like hair dryer, ironer were a big plus. Tv has a lot of movies and shows, for rainy days. Kitchen is very nice and equipped. (Coffee was good) the air conditioning helped us a lot ! We felt really comfortable staying there. Nothing was really far. Recommend 10/10. :)

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit im heißen New York. Alles war okay, sehr sauber. Wir können die Unterkunft weiter empfehlen. Die Wege in die Hot spots der city sind natürlich lang. Ein Pendeln ist deshalb zeitintensiv. <br/>Vielen Dank für die gute Kommunikation.

Communication wasn't too bad but after we left I received messages pertaining to my service animals as if I did something wrong. Then on top of that my children whom are 14(boy) and 13(girl) they assumed they were adults. Personally don't stare at my kids like that, I don't care how old they look stay in your own lane. I don't like the back and gorth banter especially when we took care of the place like home, except at home we don't have roaches.

Great apartment in a vibrant Latin neighborhood. Everything as advertised. Had a problem getting the lockbox open…owner got back to us right away and told us the “trick”. After that, a flawless enjoyable stay.

Super comfy beds, good power shower lots of hot water, everything you need in the kitchen for a few days( could do with some smaller extra pans) as yes English people like to cook!! Very comfortable sofa, WiFi excellent, could not fault this apartment, 1 min to subway A line( catch the express if going way down time it's quicker) overall very clean and perfect

The apartment was perfect for our two-day, three-person trip to the city. It's near both the A and the 1, so getting around was no problem. The apartment itself is clean and quiet (upper floor, no street noise). We did wish there were coffee--there is a coffeepot and filters, so maybe we just hit a moment when it had run out--but other than that things were great. Throughout, the hosts were prompt and easy to communicate with.

Prima accommodatie met een metrohalte om de hoek (A-lijn, die ons overal heen bracht). Fijn dat er twee slaapkamers zijn. De handdoeken waren een beetje bijzonder, het waren meer fleecekleedjes en die drogen niet zo lekker af. Een hele week met 1 handdoek voor je lijf is ook wel wat karig. Verder comfortabele plek waar je zelf je ontbijt en eventueel je avondeten kan maken omdat je een eigen keuken hebt.

I will say the place was very well maintained. The response time was excellent prior to arrival but once arrived and checked in host did not reply to messages. That was a complete turn off for me. Because of that I would not recommend this property. It wasn’t nothing major I was just requesting a fan because I forgot New York didn’t have central air. But to not get a response at all was ridiculous.

Upon checking into this listing you have to obtain the keys from a lock box. Unlocking the front door became very difficult. I suggest a new lock. <br/>The towels provided are thin and I recommend bringing your own for the stay.<br/>We were only provided with ONE garbage bag for 5 nights as well as 3 ounces of dish soap and when I asked the host to drop off more, they told me to buy my own. <br/>My friend killed a bug on day 3 and my husband killed a bug on day 4 and we found out that it was a cockroach. I messaged the host and they didn't reply back. <br/>I certainly won't be returning to this Airbnb and I do not recommend.

The location is good, close to the A train station.<br/>There are many supermarkets and shops nearby, convenient to buy ingredients for cooking.<br/>The place was comfortable, quiet, and the neighbors are friendly, although there are some problems when checking in but not big deal, Jose immediately addressed it. <br/>It’s a good experience staying here, we enjoyed it, I would recommend the apartment.

I was actually surprised , looking at the photos you would expect a lovely place in a great area in New York City. Whilst the location may be great, the property is not upon checking into the Airbnb. I had a struggle just trying to get into the door on top of that. There were hundreds of fruit flies everywhere on the curtains and such upon further inspection there was also a whole family of roaches in multiple different areas of the home in the kitchen cabinets, and just about any corner you could find. When I checked in there also was no towels at the property and I ended up getting some of the next day after. I would not recommend just based on the price and quality. It’s not worth it.

This was an amazing place to stay in The Big Apple. It’s right next to some great restaurants and when you are ready to head to lower Manhattan, the A train is right there to take you in roughly 20 minutes. The place was comfortable! We would definitely stay there again when we show back up in NYC!!

We enjoyed our time in this apartment. The apartment was comfortable and matched the descriptions and photos. The space was useful and easily accommodates up to four people. The location is convenient with the subway steps away. I would recommend the apartment and would return. Communication with Livia was easy and clear.

Overall a good place to stay. Comfortable beds, nice kitchen, building residents very nice . Negatives are the ceiling for the bathroom had some damage and the lock was super tricky to figure out. At one point we thought we were locked inside because we couldn't get the door open. Not the fanciest place to stay, but still pretty good

We stayed here for a few specific reasons. 1) it was affordable and provided two bedrooms with good sized beds, comfortably accommodating 4 people. 2) it was close to transit options, like the A train, and was close to other areas I planned to visit on my trip like The Cloisters and The Bronx. <br/>I really enjoyed our stay here and wish we could have spent more time in the apartment but we were in NYC so we were out and about most of the time. The beds were very comfortable with clean, white linens, enough towels provided for everyone and laundry in the building if needed. It’s in a residential apartment building, very quiet. Any neighbors we encountered were super friendly and sweet. <br/>On the days we didn’t make it out the door right away it was convenient to have both Dunkin’ and Starbucks within half a block to grab some coffee. For the price and comfort, it was no problem to take the train about 20 minutes to go downtown. Overall, I would stay here again.

My two friends and I stayed in NYC for the weekend, and this was a great Airbnb! The neighborhood was good (loved the Forever Coffee shop nearby - great coffee and breakfast options) and was in a good location (we could easily hop on the subway to Manhattan). The hosts were nice and responsive. I definitely will be looking to stay here again if I ever need a place to stay in NYC.

Great apartment. You get what you see in the photos. One bedroom is much smaller than the other one but still a good size. We didn't use the kitchen that much, but if you need to, it's fully equipped. My personal best was the bed mattress! With the subway station just around the corner, you could be in the central Manhattan in 30 min. That was really good. There weren't any problems with the communication with the host. Highly recommend :)

My fiancé and I stayed here for my 30th birthday weekend and absolutely loved it. We were able to get an early checkin when we made good time on our drive in, and we found the place easily, immediately off the George Washington Bridge. The neighborhood has free parking but is more crowded than other neighborhoods due to its proximity to major landmarks like the GWB bus station. We chose to pay for the 24-hr parking garage just a few blocks away from our building. The building looks fairly worn, and the apartment lock takes a fair bit of jiggling to open, but the space itself seems brand-new and was squeaky clean. We loved the many potted plants throughout the apartment, super soft microfiber towels, and Cafe Bustelo coffee — all thoughtful touches that made us feel so at home. it’s a gorgeous, quiet, homey space conveniently located in the same block as the 181st St A Express train (the station is handi accessible at one entrance, but the other entrance has 6 flights of stairs ; choose wisely!) We look forward to staying here again!
