The place is great. The location is perfect for walking and going everywhere on subway. The building is well equipped and the room has all you need. Carlo is a great host and very responsive. Totally recommended for short and longer stays.

Amazing host, nothing else to say. He was kind enough to allow for us to check in a bit earlier and even let us check out later! The place was clean, calm and cozy. Felt right at home! Neighborhood had amazing food and energy. 10/10 would highly recommend

We chose Carlo’s place because was close to the United palace, were we had tickets for a concert, but also close to the metro station to go to down town NYC . The room was spacious, linens were clean as well as towels. I was easy to access and Carlo was always responsive. 😊

This was my second visit to Carlo's place--I came in May with one teenager, and was delighted to return with my other teenage son in August. It was so nice to feel that I was returning home. Despite the current surge in COVID cases in NYC, I knew from my previous experience that I could rely on Carlo to air out my room and the shared (but very separate and quiet) bathroom before I came, and to leave the windows open, and that I was about as safe as an immune compromised visitor as I could possibly be. As before, he left hand sanitizer and a big box of N95 masks without me even asking for that, and inflated an air mattress for my son to sleep on. The setting is really nice--it's great to be able to get away from downtown Manhattan and discover a different neighbourhood in NYC. The bed is extremely comfortable (I have back problems and it was perfect). There is an also wonderful massage chair definitely worth trying out. Will definitely try to stay here next time, again!

The place is exactly as advertised! th neighborhood is really quite, there is a great view of the GW bridge from outside the building, you are right by the A line, and there is a cute park right next door. Carlo was an excellent host! He was super responsive and kind. Would recommend!!

Carlo est un hôte sympa, réactif et prévenant tout en étant discret. Nous avons été en contact avant notre arrivée afin de savoir si nous avions besoin de conseils sur les transports. Le logement est spacieux, très bien situé et propre. Carlo a mis à notre disposition tout le nécessaire pour déjeuner. Il nous envoyait un petit message tous les jours pour savoir si nous avions besoin de quelque chose ( il nous redonnait de l eau et des snacks tous les jours!). Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés!

I am immune compromised and my teenage son and I were taking my first trip in four years. I was nervous about staying in shared accommodations but drawn to the great reviews I saw for Carlo's place. I warned him that we would be wearing masks in any of the shared spaces, but didn't expect anything form him. Carlo opened bedroom and bathroom windows to air out the place before we arrived, met us wearing a respirator mask, and left us hand sanitizer and quality masks--such thoughtful gestures. My large bed was extremely comfortable and my son chose to sleep on a very comfy air mattress Carlo set up while we were out enjoying dinner.<br/> I am so pleased that I decided to stay in Washington Heights--no tourist traps or noisy neighbours, and we enjoyed exploring the neighborhood, using our Spanish, and watching people of all ages dancing salsa at the Plaza de las Americas. Easy if sometimes slow (blame the sometimes infrequent A train) trip downtown. We'll be back ASAP!

Carlo is a very responsive host, who cares about his guests. The apartment is in a very good location and is very close to the Metro and also buses. From the apartment it is super easy to get to the train and from there get to downtown. Carlo was very friendly and interactive. I would highly recommend him and his place if you would like to spend a few days in NYC and not worrying about anything, and mostly feel at home .

Carlo's place was as per the listing. the host was friendly, informative and helpful. The breakfast counter was very helpful as we didn't have to rush for a cup of coffee early in the morning. The room and the bathroom was neat and tidy, all the supplies were in stock.
